2026 Summer Programs run June 15th-July 25th

Registration at the YS desk begins 30 minutes before the start of the program.

Tuesdays June 16^th, 30^th & July 14^th from 2 to 4pm – Drop-in Chess: Come in and play a fun game of chess at the library. Never played before? Don’t worry, we can show you the ropes and get you started! GRADES 7-12^th

Thursday, June 18^th at 6pm – Foil Embossing: Come try out a new art medium! Make your own ornament by designing metal sheets. GRADES 7-12^th MAX 15

Thursday, June 25^th at 6pm – Eat your way across the USA: Join us to try out the most popular snack in states across the country! GRADES 7-12^th MAX 15

Monday, July 6^th at 4pm – DIY Library bags: Do you check out so many books that they get too heavy to carry? Come and design your own canvas bag to hold the books. GRADES 7-12^th MAX 10

Thursday, July 9^th at 6pm – Chocolate covered strawberries: Turn your strawberries into carrots by dipping them into chocolate! Learn how to make and decorate chocolate covered strawberries! GRADES 7-12^th MAX 10

Tuesday, July 21^st at 6pm – Stained Glass: Create your very own stained glass project with us at the library using glass paint! Use it to decorate your room or give it as a gift! GRADES 7-12^th MAX 10
