The Children's Department
Preschool Storytime:
Welcome Friends, 3 to 5 years old! We are going to have fun singing, rhyming and hearing great stories and poems. Each week we will do a related craft. Registration is Required. Space is limited
Toddler Storytime Class:
Children 18 months to under 3 years old along with their participating care-giver will hear mother goose rhymes and songs, listen to short stories and do age appropriate crafts. Because of the age of the children this class runs about 20-30 minutes in length, we encourage caregivers to stay after in storytime room for some free play and socialization with other toddlers.
Registration is Required. Space is limited.
We are Happy to Offer After School Clubs to our Kindergarten-6th Graders!
K-2 Club
Join in the Celebration of Good Stories, and Good Listeners. We will hear a new story each week, while we participate in activity sheets and crafts. Children in Kindergarten through 2nd Grade are able to attend. Registration is required.
Club 36
For Kids in 3rd - 6th Grade, for the fall 6 week program we will be participating in a Readers Theatre. We will discuss the art of acting learn acting techniques and finish our program with a presentation for family and friends. This is a Negative Free Zone and children will be encouraged and rewarded for "giving things a good try" there will be no critism only creativity at work. Registration is required.
